Talking Tables
Talking Tables believe in providing fun and convenient products for celebrations so you can party like there is a tomorrow. They are on a mission to produce and market products that are recyclable or reusable, and are making strides to their goal of being net zero by 2050. So far they have:
- developed new and upgraded recyclable paper napkins which are packaged in card, and a range of glass bud vases made from recycled glass
- launched their first products made from upcycled fabric remnants made by their Indian textile supplier who has a dedicated ‘upcycle studio’ with almost 150 workers. 90% of workers are rural women, supporting employment in these areas. The upcycled material primarily consists of offcuts generated within their own factory. Using these upcycled material is a great way to reduce demand for virgin material and the carbon impact of products.
- partnered with a Nepal-based World Fair Trade supplier

room2
In 2023, Lamington Group expanded its room2 brand with room2 Belfast. The property prioritises sustainability, operating on 100% renewables with solar PV generating 2.26% of energy. It utilises an Air Source Heat Pump for heating and cooling, reducing electricity consumption and carbon emissions. Additionally, room2 Belfast embraces a circular economy with innovative reuse of materials to prevent waste. Similar to room2 Chiswick, the property also uses regenerated carpets, which have been made from abandoned fishing nets and industrial scraps.
Looking forward, Lamington Group anticipates the release of its inaugural ESG Report, providing insights into progress toward targets, starting with 2022 and committing to annual reports. The company is planning to:
