Seep x William Morris Society - Bringing Iconic Design to Green Cleaning

Autumn is the season for slowing down and making your home feel good again, right down to the sink. So it's the perfect time for Seep to launch our first-ever collaboration with the William Morris Society. This limited edition is designed to make the boring bits more beautiful, while still being kinder to the planet.

Why is this perfect collaboration for us? William Morris was more than just a design icon. He was a conservationist, an advocate for social change, and a champion of natural materials. And this was all long before “sustainable living” was even a thing. His belief that everyday life should be filled with beauty and purpose fits perfectly with our ethos here at Seep.

“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
William Morris, 1880

Seep’s HQ is less than half a mile from the William Morris Society’s home in Hammersmith on the river, a spot our founder walks past with her dog, so this collaboration felt like fate. With every pack sold, we’ll be supporting the Society’s work to preserve Morris’s legacy and keep his ideas alive for the next generation.

The collection

William Morris 4-Pack Eco Sponge Cloths - featuring the classic Golden Lily and Arcadia (designed by his daughter) prints, plus two plain pops (pink + grey).
William Morris 4-Pack Eco Sponge Cloths & Tea Towel Set - the dreamy Golden Lily print on a tea towel, perfect for adding a little art to your sink.
William Morris Cleaning Starter Kit - a bundle of Seep favourites, plus Morris’ prints for a full green clean refresh.

Like all Seep products, these sponge cloths are free of microplastics. They are also compostable, made from textile waste, super absorbent, and machine washable up to 20 times. They’re proof that green cleaning can be beautiful, effective, and totally plastic-free.

“William Morris made wallpapers and interiors beautiful. We’re making sinks beautiful. It’s about time the ugliest corner of the kitchen got some love.”
Laura Harnett, Founder of Seep

If you’re into design, sustainability, or just want to make your sink a little more beautiful, this one’s for you.
